Amarc Financing Increased to $5.5 Million

VANCOUVER, Dec. 23 /CNW/ -- Amarc Resources Ltd. ("Amarc" or the "Company") (TSX Venture: AHR; OTCBB: AXREF) announces that an over allotment of 10% has been taken up on the private placement financing (see the Company's December 18, 2009 news release), involving up to an additional 1 million common shares at a price of $0.50 per share. None of the additional $500,000 raised will be flow-through. Insiders of the Company will participate. The financing is subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance.

Amarc Resources Ltd. is a Vancouver-based exploration and development company which has made an important new gold discovery in south-central British Columbia. Amarc is affiliated with the Hunter Dickinson group, a private company associated with a series of successful mineral exploration and development projects in BC - including Golden Bear, Mt.
