Properties for Joint Venture

The Huge South and Olsen projects represent prospective zinc-copper volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) targets located within central British Columbia's (BC) Sitlika Copper Zinc Belt, near the community of Fort St. James. The rocks of the Sitlika Belt are considered to correlate with the Kutcho Creek Formation, located 250 kilometres to the north, which host the Kutcho Creek VMS deposits. The Kutcho deposits have reported Measured and Indicated Resources of 10.4 million tonnes grading 2.1% copper, 2.9% zinc, 0.3 g/t gold and 32 g/t silver (Capstone Mining Corporation).

The Huge South target is hosted by a thick felsic volcanic pile that extends over at least eight kilometers and represents a classic environment for VMS-type mineralization. Soil geochemical sampling in 2008 defined a strong copper-in-soil anomaly, extending over a length of almost five kilometres and open to both the northwest and to the southeast. Geological mapping, some 600 soil samples and approximately 21 line-kilometers of induced polarization (IP) survey have been undertaken in 2009 to further define the target. These and the 2008 results have been reviewed and drill targets defined. Amarc is offering the Huge South project for joint venture.

The prospective Olsen target was identified through geological mapping, as well as geochemical and geophysical surveys, undertaken in 2008 and 2009. The soil grid defined a significant zinc-copper anomaly over approximately 1,100 metres, which is coincident with a strong IP chargeability signature, and associated with felsic volcanic units that represent preferred stratigraphy for VMS mineralization. Drill targets are defined. Amarc is offering the Olsen project for joint venture.

Both the Huge South and Olsen targets are held under an option agreement with an arm's length party whereby Amarc has the ability to acquire a 100% undivided interest in the Bodine property In addition to the drill-ready Huge South and Olsen targets, Amarc has a number of earlier-stage projects located along the Sitlika Belt which are open for joint venture. Interested parties should contact Diane Nicolson at Amarc (604-684-6365).
