Under the terms of the Newton Agreement signed in 2009 with High Ridge Resources Inc., Amarc has the right to acquire an 80% interest in the Newton property by expending $5 million on the project. On exercise of the option by Amarc, the two parties will further develop the project through an 80:20 joint venture.

Amarc trades in Canada on the TSX Venture Exchange, under the symbol AHR, and in the United States on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board under the symbol AXREF.

Amarc is affiliated with the Hunter Dickinson (HD) group -- a private company based in Vancouver, Canada, recognized for its successful track record in mineral exploration and development. This relationship provides Amarc with both cost advantages and access to expertise through HD's shared multi-disciplinary team.
