Welcome to Amarc Resources

Amarc Resources Ltd. is a Vancouver-based mineral exploration and development company whose objective is to discover and develop the next major deposit in British Columbia (BC). It is publicly traded in Canada on the TSX Venture Exchange (AHR) and on the United States' Over the Counter Bulletin Board (AXREF).

Amarc's principal focus is the development of the Newton bulk-tonnage gold target in south-central British Columbia, approximately 110 kilometres southwest of the City of Williams Lake. An initial 2009 drilling program will test a major bulk-tonnage gold mineralization target indicated by historical core drilling. Amarc (80%) and its joint venture partners (20%) hold an extensive land position at Newton, comprising 230 square kilometres of provincial mineral claims.

Amarc has engaged an experienced, multi-disciplinary team of geologists and mining professionals from the Hunter Dickinson group to manage development of the Newton Property.

The company is also carrying out exploration activities on a number of other properties in central BC locations in 2009 - including drilling at the Pinchi porphyry copper-gold and the Bodine zinc-copper-silver volcanogenic massive sulphide targets.

Amarc Resources Ltd. is a Vancouver-based exploration and development company focused on developing the next major mineral deposit in British Columbia. Amarc is affiliated with the Hunter Dickinson group, a private company associated with a series of successful mineral exploration and development projects in BC -- including Golden Bear, Mt. Milligan, Kemess, Gibraltar and Prosperity.
